College Students

Everybody makes mistakes. That’s how we grow. College is a time of learning and experimentation, and it may be the first time you are actually free to make choices. You make a mistake, or you’re merely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, you feel the pressure and do something you wouldn’t normally do. The consequences of these choices can drastically affect your situation now and in the future. In addition to traditional criminal penalties like fines and jail time, a conviction, or sometimes just the allegation, may subject you to penalties under your school’s code of conduct. You may lose your right to live in student housing. Your academic or sports scholarships, and memberships in certain school organizations, may be in jeopardy. Your student loans may be revoked. In serious cases, you may also face suspension or even expulsion.

In addition, the charges could prevent you from being admitted to graduate, law, or medical school, or prevent you from getting the job you want. You need an attorney that knows what’s at stake and will fight with you and for you.

Janet M. Perrodin was a drug prosecutor and knows how to fight whatever your drug charge is: possession of marijuana or any other drug, possession with intent to distribute, distribution, possession of a gun while possessing a drug. Perrodin Law, LLC will also handle any other criminal charges you face.
