If you are a college student, a veteran, or anyone facing the possibility of a criminal conviction or need a conviction expunged I want to help you. Janet M. Perrodin handles all felonies, both violent and nonviolent, and all misdemeanors, except domestic abuse-related charges. For many years, I prosecuted domestic violence cases in Lafayette District Court. Although I’m proud to have developed a unique program to address anger and control issues along with substance abuse treatment for the offenders, my focus was always on the safety of the victim. I remain an advocate for victims of domestic abuse. Out of fairness for those charged with a domestic violence-related charge and for myself, I choose not to handle these charges.
